“AMERICAN CHOPPER” TO FEATURE CNG CHOPPER BUILT FOR CHESAPEAKE
Media Invited to Attend Unveiling Wednesday
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, June 16, 2009 – The hit cable television program, American Chopper, will feature the world’s first compressed natural gas (CNG) powered custom chopper built for Chesapeake Energy Corporation on its June 25th episode. The Chesapeake segment will air on TLC (Cox Cable channels 40/736) at 8:00 p.m. central standard time.
American Chopper, with father, Paul Sr., and sons, Paul Jr., and Mikey, as hosts, have built custom choppers for many of America’s most recognizable companies through their company, Orange County Choppers. Paul Sr. and show producers visited a Chesapeake drill site near Ardmore last month to learn more about natural gas drilling and production. The TLC show takes viewers through the entire construction process with a sizeable dose of family drama making American Chopper one of cable television’s most popular programs.
Media is invited to attend the Oklahoma unveiling of the Chesapeake chopper, led by Corporate Development Manager Taylor Shinn, at the following time and location:
Wednesday, June 17th - 10:00 a.m. Chesapeake Energy Corporation 6100 North Western, Oklahoma City Reserved parking on north side of corporate development/acquisitions building
DVDs with b-roll footage of the chopper will be available.
